Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing comprehensive checkout control, fraud protection, and security features, EZ Checkout Controller | Rules is the stronger option. Its high rating and greater number of reviews also indicate potentially higher user satisfaction. The IP blocking and fraud protection features are especially valuable for businesses that are at risk of these types of issues. Melon ‑ Minimum Order Quantity is better suited for businesses that primarily need to enforce minimum order quantities by product or collection and want strong custom messaging, and are willing to trade the lack of security features for the added messaging control and custom support.
In summary, if security and wide checkout configuration are key, go with EZ Checkout Controller | Rules. If MOQ control, and customer-specific messaging are your priority, Melon is the choice. However, the low review count for Melon might indicate a riskier choice.
