EZ Checkout Controller | Rules vs Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfyfor Shopify (2026)
EZ Checkout Controller | Rules and Shipping Rates & Rule ‑ Shipfy are both Shopify apps designed to provide merchants with greater control over their checkout experience, but they address different needs. EZ Checkout Controller | Rules focuses on comprehensive checkout customization, encompassing order limits, payment and shipping method management, fraud prevention, and even content additions like a terms and conditions checkbox. It's positioned as a one-stop-shop for merchants seeking granular control over nearly every aspect of the checkout process. Shipping Rates & Rule - Shipfy, on the other hand, is more narrowly focused on optimizing and customizing shipping rates and options displayed to customers, enabling businesses to offer nuanced shipping solutions based on factors like customer tags, product categories, and geographical location. The core difference lies in their breadth. EZ Checkout Controller | Rules takes a holistic approach, allowing control of the entire checkout flow. Shipping Rates & Rule - Shipfy is laser-focused on shipping customization, providing features for reordering, renaming, and hiding shipping rates based on various conditions. While EZ Checkout Controller | Rules offers IP and country blocking for fraud prevention, Shipping Rates & Rule - Shipfy provides advanced shipping features such as scheduling and suburb/zone based rates, and acting as an advanced COD alternative. The choice between them depends on whether a merchant needs broader checkout control or specifically requires sophisticated shipping management.
