Ezz Cart Count vs OneReview: Use Online Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
Ezz Cart Count and OneReview: Use Online Reviews, both boasting perfect 5/5 ratings, serve distinct purposes for Shopify merchants in 2026. Ezz Cart Count, judging by its name, likely focuses on cart functionalities related to displaying the number of items in a shopper's cart, aiming to increase conversions through perceived scarcity or simply improved UI. OneReview: Use Online Reviews, on the other hand, directly addresses the challenge of missing product reviews by importing and displaying reviews from external sources like Amazon, Best Buy, and supplier websites. This app focuses on leveraging social proof to boost sales by building trust with potential customers. The primary difference lies in their core functionality: cart management (Ezz Cart Count - inferred) versus review aggregation and display (OneReview). OneReview targets merchants who are struggling to generate organic reviews and require a quick and easy way to establish credibility. It offers features like customizable widgets to match store branding and compatibility with existing review apps, making it a versatile solution for various Shopify stores. While Ezz Cart Count may impact conversion by displaying cart quantities, OneReview actively combats buyer hesitancy arising from a lack of social validation. Both apps fall under the 'Social trust - Other' category suggesting they provide social signals to potential customers, albeit in different ways.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with low conversion rates due to a lack of social proof, OneReview: Use Online Reviews is the clear choice. Its ability to import reviews from reputable external sources provides an immediate credibility boost. The 'One Free White-Glove Customization' offer further enhances its appeal. Ezz Cart Count, on the other hand, might be more suitable for stores already generating steady sales but looking to optimize their cart experience by enhancing the cart UI and possibly creating a sense of urgency via cart quantity display (though this is inferred based on the name).
In summary, OneReview offers a direct solution to a specific problem (lack of reviews), making it a potentially higher-impact solution for many Shopify stores. While Ezz Cart Count may contribute to incremental improvements in conversion rates, it's harder to assess its value without knowing its exact features.
