Our Verdict
The choice between these apps depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. F: VAT Dual Price Display B2B is suitable for businesses operating within the EU (or similar regions) who need to display VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices to comply with regulations and improve customer trust. However, the low rating and small number of reviews should give merchants pause and prompt further investigation before commiting.
Singleton | Verify Customers is ideal for B2B businesses or those selling exclusive products that require customer vetting and controlled access to pricing and purchasing. The much better rating and reviews makes this the less risky choice. It's essential to note that while both apps fall under the 'Pricing' category, they address fundamentally different aspects of pricing strategy and customer management.
Common Questions
Does F: VAT Dual Price Display B2B work outside of EU countries?
The description mentions translation for various tax terms, implying functionality beyond the EU, but primarily caters to GDPR and EU VAT requirements. While the app supports Zakat and MOMS, that implies the app might also be used for Middle Eastern and Scandinavian countries respectively.

The app description suggests a simple setup using an app block extension. However, the low rating may indicate possible usability issues, so careful consideration of the app's support documentation and available tutorials is advisable.
Does Singleton | Verify Customers offer bulk customer approval?
The app description mentions approval/decline based on customer tags, which can be used for bulk management. It also mentions approving customers one by one.
Do both apps offer a free trial?
The app descriptions do not explicitly mention free trials. Merchants should check the app listings on the Shopify App Store for current trial offers and pricing information.
