FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay vs Redeemly Store Credit Cashbackfor Shopify (2026)
FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay and Redeemly Store Credit Cashback are both Shopify apps within the 'Payment options - Other' category, but cater to distinctly different needs and offer very different user experiences. FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay focuses on providing flexible payment options to customers, including partial payments, split payments, custom payment plans, and pre-order capabilities. Its target audience is merchants looking to increase sales by offering payment flexibility. Redeemly Store Credit Cashback, on the other hand, focuses on building customer loyalty and driving repeat purchases by offering cashback in the form of store credit. The key differentiator lies in their core functionality: one is about payment flexibility at the point of sale, while the other is about rewarding customers and encouraging future purchases. The glaring difference is in social proof; FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay has no reviews and a 0/5 rating, signaling potential risks or newness, while Redeemly Store Credit Cashback boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 45 reviews, suggesting user satisfaction. This suggests a stark contrast in either the perceived value or the actual performance of these apps. Redeemly seems to be more easily implemented and valued by merchants, judging from the positive reviews. The FA app offers compelling payment options, but the lack of reviews suggests either it's very new or has significant issues that have deterred users from leaving positive feedback. For established stores, the lack of reviews of FA may signal significant risk.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing customer loyalty and driving repeat purchases through a proven method, Redeemly Store Credit Cashback is the clear choice. The positive reviews and high rating suggest a reliable and effective solution. However, if a merchant's priority is to offer a diverse range of flexible payment options, including split payments and pre-orders, and they are willing to take a risk on a new or unproven app, FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay *could* be considered, assuming the merchant is prepared for potential issues and thorough testing.
Ultimately, the lack of reviews for FA: Split Partial Deposit Pay makes it difficult to recommend without reservation. While the features it promises are valuable, the absence of user feedback raises concerns about its reliability and ease of use. Redeemly's established positive reputation makes it the safer and more likely beneficial choice for most merchants seeking to enhance their customer relationships and boost sales through cashback rewards.
Common Questions
