Facebook Feed by Elfsight vs Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Storyfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, merchants choosing between Facebook Feed by Elfsight and Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story are faced with two very different approaches to engaging customers, despite both being categorized under 'Social Proof'. Facebook Feed by Elfsight focuses on integrating existing Facebook content directly onto a Shopify store, offering a simple way to display posts, photos, and videos from a business's Facebook page or profile. This caters to merchants who already invest heavily in Facebook and want to leverage that content on their website, ensuring their website remains current and linked to their social activity. Vidjet, on the other hand, centers on embedding and optimizing video content *within* the Shopify store itself. Its strength lies in enabling merchants to publish multiple videos without impacting site speed and offers formats like stories, carousels, and floating bubbles, along with tools for tagging products and tracking performance. While both apps can contribute to social proof by showcasing engaging content, Vidjet is tailored towards merchants looking for a sophisticated and scalable video solution, emphasizing direct sales and engagement within their online store, rather than simply reflecting their social media presence.

Our Verdict
The best choice depends entirely on the merchant's strategy. If the goal is a simple, low-effort way to display existing Facebook content on a Shopify store, Facebook Feed by Elfsight might be suitable. However, merchants who are serious about video marketing within their store, require analytics, and want to directly drive sales through shoppable videos and optimized formats should strongly consider Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story. The significantly higher number of reviews for Vidjet also suggests a more established presence and potentially a greater level of trust within the Shopify community.
While both apps achieve a 5/5 rating, the single review for Elfsight's app makes it difficult to gauge long-term user satisfaction. Vidjet's suite of features suggests more advanced functionality, aimed at professional video integration and sales optimization. The lack of specified site speed impact for the Elfsight app is concerning, as Vidjet clearly highlights its ability to publish many videos without slowing down the site, which is crucial for customer experience and SEO.
