Facebook Pixels by AdNabu vs ShareThis Share Buttonsfor Shopify (2026)
Facebook Pixels by AdNabu and ShareThis Share Buttons, while both categorized under 'Ads' on Shopify, serve drastically different purposes and target distinct merchant needs. Facebook Pixels by AdNabu is designed to help merchants leverage the power of Facebook advertising by providing a robust and seamless pixel integration for tracking, retargeting, and conversion optimization. This makes it a crucial tool for merchants heavily invested in paid social advertising and aiming for data-driven marketing decisions. ShareThis Share Buttons, on the other hand, focuses on organic growth and expanding reach by enabling easy sharing of product pages and blog posts across various social media platforms. With features like customizable share button design, asynchronous loading for site speed optimization, and mobile-responsive display, it aims to enhance the user experience and drive organic traffic. It appeals to merchants prioritizing social sharing and word-of-mouth marketing to boost visibility and engagement across their online presence. The significantly lower rating and smaller review count for ShareThis suggest potential user experience or feature limitations that merchants should consider. Choosing between these apps depends entirely on the merchant's primary marketing strategy: paid advertising with Facebook or organic social sharing.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily reliant on Facebook Ads and aiming for data-driven results through pixel tracking and retargeting, Facebook Pixels by AdNabu is the clear choice. Its higher rating suggests a more positive user experience and effective performance in pixel implementation.
However, if the primary goal is to boost organic reach and encourage social sharing of products and blog content, ShareThis Share Buttons may be considered. That said, the significantly lower rating and fewer reviews should prompt careful consideration of user reviews and alternative options before installation. Its value is most likely in the number of channels supported, but the quality of the experience and impact on site speed should be evaluated. For a more robust sharing solution, alternative apps with higher ratings should be investigated.
