Fanboard ‑ Customer Videos and Logolicious ‑ Logo Slider are both listed under the 'Social trust - Other' Shopify category, but they address entirely different aspects of building trust and enhancing a store's appearance. Fanboard emphasizes content generation and social proof through video testimonials, while Logolicious focuses on visual presentation and brand association. Another crucial difference is their current market validation. Fanboard currently has no reviews, suggesting it's either a very new app or has faced challenges in gaining traction. Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Logolicious appears to be the more reliable and established option at this point. Its perfect rating and existing reviews provide some assurance of its functionality and user-friendliness. Logolicious is the clear choice for merchants seeking a simple and effective way to display logos and enhance their store's visual appeal and credibility.
Fanboard, while promising in its concept of leveraging user-generated video content, lacks any user reviews, which raises concerns about its performance and reliability. It's the riskier option, but might be worth exploring for merchants specifically targeting customer video testimonials and willing to be early adopters and provide feedback. Merchants should closely monitor user reviews and developer support for Fanboard before committing to using it.
