Fantastic Markets Discounts vs Omnibus Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
Fantastic Markets Discounts and Omnibus Pricing both target Shopify merchants looking to optimize their international sales strategies, specifically using discounts. However, they appear to cater to slightly different needs and levels of sophistication. Fantastic Markets Discounts focuses on market-specific discount strategies, allowing merchants to create bulk discounts based on product attributes and schedule exclusive discount codes. This app seems geared towards merchants who want granular control over their discount offerings across different markets, including creating native Shopify discounts (order, product, shipping). It mentions integration with Shopify Markets and multicurrency support, suggesting a broader international approach. Omnibus Pricing, on the other hand, while not providing explicit feature details, boasts a significantly higher rating and more reviews. This suggests a higher level of user satisfaction, possibly indicating a more streamlined or easier-to-use interface. Because specific feature details are missing, it is difficult to make a full feature comparison. However, given the high rating and the Internationalization category, it is reasonable to assume that Omnibus Pricing provides tools or mechanisms for achieving the discount or internationalization result in an easier-to-use fashion. The lack of specific mentions of bulk discounts, scheduling, or native Shopify discount creation suggests it may prioritize overall efficiency and ease of implementation.

Our Verdict
For merchants who require granular control over their market-specific discount strategies and want to schedule bulk discounts based on various product attributes (tags, stock, etc.), Fantastic Markets Discounts might be a suitable choice, despite the lower rating. The ability to create native Shopify discounts segmented by country adds a significant layer of customization.
However, for merchants who prioritize ease of use, a positive user experience, and a more streamlined approach to international pricing, Omnibus Pricing appears to be the stronger option. The higher rating and larger number of reviews indicate a higher level of user satisfaction, even though its feature set is not explicitly detailed. If ease of use is a priority and the specific features of Fantastic Markets Discounts aren't essential, Omnibus Pricing is the preferable recommendation, based on user satisfaction data available. More testing and research is required on the exact feature set of Omnibus Pricing to validate this claim fully.
