Faslet Size Me & Try On vs RaceChip Product Selectfor Shopify (2026)
Faslet Size Me & Try On and RaceChip Product Select, while sharing the 'Product comparison' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different niches. Faslet is designed for apparel and fashion retailers, focusing on size recommendations through a customizable widget integrated into the online store. It emphasizes accuracy, speed, and modern design to improve the customer shopping experience and reduce returns due to sizing issues. RaceChip Product Select, on the other hand, is tailored for merchants selling RaceChip products, specifically those related to vehicle performance enhancements. It aims to guide customers through the process of selecting the correct chip for their vehicle based on make, model, and engine specifications. The primary distinction lies in their target audience and functionality. Faslet aims to solve the common problem of incorrect sizing in the fashion industry, enhancing sales with a size recommendation tool. RaceChip Product Select solves a very different problem by helping customers find the correct performance chip for their specific vehicle, again enhancing sales with specific product comparisons and information. Initial user sentiment is a key differentiator, with Faslet having a perfect rating across a small number of reviews, while RaceChip Product Select has no reviews at all.

Our Verdict
The choice between Faslet Size Me & Try On and RaceChip Product Select hinges entirely on the type of products being sold. For fashion retailers grappling with sizing issues, Faslet is the clear choice, based on its features and positive (albeit limited) user feedback. Its focus on accuracy and design makes it a valuable tool for enhancing the shopping experience and minimizing returns.
However, if a merchant specializes in RaceChip products, then RaceChip Product Select is their only option. While it currently lacks user reviews, the app directly addresses the need for customers to find the correct chip for their vehicle. The focus on vehicle specifications makes it suitable for merchants with little to no technical know-how who need to help customers navigate a complex product selection process.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to integrate into my Shopify store?
Based on the descriptions, Faslet explicitly mentions easy integration. The RaceChip Product Select description does not comment on ease of integration.
Which app is more likely to increase my conversion rate?
Both apps aim to increase conversion rates, but through different mechanisms. Faslet reduces sizing uncertainty in fashion, while RaceChip streamlines the product selection process, both leading to more confident purchases.
What if I sell both fashion items and vehicle performance parts?
These apps target completely separate product categories. You would likely need *both* if they separately address the specific challenges in each category. Each app serves a unique purpose that cannot be easily swapped from one shop type to the other.
Which app has a more proven track record?
Faslet Size Me & Try On has a 5/5 rating with 12 reviews, indicating a positive early track record. RaceChip Product Select has no reviews at the time of this analysis, making it impossible to assess its track record. However, 12 reviews is a small sample size.
