FastGrowth Forms vs Madgic Order COD Form & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
FastGrowth Forms and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell are both Shopify apps in the 'Forms' category, but they cater to drastically different needs. FastGrowth Forms positions itself as a general-purpose form builder, emphasizing ease of use with drag-and-drop functionality and integrations with popular email marketing platforms. Its value proposition lies in creating various form types for lead generation, contact, or surveys. However, it suffers from extremely low ratings and a very small number of reviews. Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell, on the other hand, is specifically designed for merchants offering Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options. It focuses on optimizing the COD checkout process with features like partial payments, COD fees, and abandoned cart recovery. The app aims to streamline the COD experience, boost conversions, and protect margins, with a strong emphasis on mobile-friendliness and a smooth checkout process. Its high rating and significantly higher number of reviews suggest a more established and satisfied user base within its niche.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a versatile form builder for general purposes like collecting contact information, subscriptions, or conducting surveys, FastGrowth Forms *could* be considered due to its drag-and-drop interface, but the extremely low rating and almost non-existent reviews should be a significant red flag, making it a very risky choice at this time. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly test the app before committing to it.
Conversely, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell is clearly the superior choice for merchants prioritizing optimization of their Cash on Delivery (COD) checkout process. Its high rating, multiple positive reviews, and COD-specific features like partial payments and abandoned cart recovery make it a much safer and more effective solution for businesses heavily reliant on COD payments. The focus on mobile checkout and conversion optimization further solidifies its position as the go-to app for COD-focused merchants.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell claims to build a COD checkout form in under a minute, suggesting a faster setup process than FastGrowth Forms. However, FastGrowth Forms highlights its drag-and-drop interface, which may also contribute to ease of use.
Which app is better for lead generation?
FastGrowth Forms, with its general-purpose form building capabilities and integration with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, MailChimp) is explicitly positioned for lead generation. Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell's primary focus is COD checkout optimization, not general lead generation.
Which app is more reliable?
Based on the ratings and reviews, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell appears to be significantly more reliable and trustworthy due to its high rating and larger number of positive reviews. FastGrowth Forms' low rating and single review raise serious concerns about its reliability and potential issues.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially. You *could* use FastGrowth Forms for general lead capture and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell specifically for COD checkout. However, this might introduce unnecessary complexity. If your primary need is COD optimization, Madgic Order is the clear choice.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to say definitively. However, considering Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell's high rating and targeted feature set for COD optimization, it likely offers better value for money for merchants actively using COD. For general form building, the value of FastGrowth Forms is questionable due to its poor rating.
