Our Verdict
Choosing between Fastrr Page Speed Booster and Magepow Infinite Scroll depends on the specific problem a merchant is trying to solve. If slow page load times and high bounce rates are the primary concern, Fastrr Page Speed Booster, with its no-code pre-loading functionality, could be a good starting point. However, the app has very few reviews. If the main goal is to improve product discovery and engagement on collection pages with numerous items, Magepow Infinite Scroll is the better choice, particularly given the higher number of positive reviews suggesting a more stable and tested solution. However, the merchant should consider the impact of long pages on site performance and user experience before committing to infinite scroll.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to install?
Fastrr Page Speed Booster claims to be extremely simple to install, requiring just turning it on. Magepow Infinite Scroll, while also no-code, offers customization options, potentially adding complexity during initial setup.
Which app is better for SEO?
Neither app explicitly focuses on SEO, but page speed improvements from Fastrr can indirectly boost search rankings. Infinite scrolling can sometimes negatively impact SEO if not implemented correctly, as search engines might have difficulty crawling paginated content. Magepow's claim of 'Load More' suggests it handles this better than a pure infinite scroll that hides pagination completely.
Which app addresses mobile users?
Fastrr mentions that it helps even with slow internet speeds, which is relevant for mobile users. Magepow doesn't specifically mention mobile optimization, but endless scrolling is generally more user-friendly on mobile devices.
Is jQuery required for either app?
Magepow Infinite Scroll explicitly states that it uses Vanilla JavaScript and does not require jQuery, which can improve performance. Fastrr does not mention any dependency.
Which app has better customer support?
Fastrr's description explicitly mentions readily available customer support. Magepow does not make specific claims about customer support in the provided information, though the higher number of reviews could indicate a more established support system.
