Our Verdict
FastThis ‑ Product Creator is best suited for vintage shops looking to significantly accelerate and improve the accuracy of their product listing process. Its customizable workflows cater to the unique needs of these stores. Impersonator, on the other hand, is valuable for any Shopify store, especially those in B2B, that prioritizes efficient customer support and troubleshooting. The ability to quickly access a customer's account without password hassles can dramatically improve issue resolution times and customer satisfaction. Given the lack of reviews for Impersonator, a merchant should proceed with caution, carefully evaluate its security features, and consider a trial period.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
FastThis aims for ease of use through its custom workflows. However, Impersonator with its one-click login feature appears to offer simpler immediate functionality, although setup of audit logs might require configuration.
Which app provides better value for a vintage clothing store?
FastThis ‑ Product Creator provides far better value because it is specifically designed to make the process of listing clothing more efficient.
Does Impersonator raise security concerns?
Potentially. While Impersonator mentions secure data handling with a 14-day retention period, a merchant should independently verify its security practices and assess whether the audit logs provide sufficient accountability.
Which app is better for B2B stores?
Impersonator supports B2B scenarios directly. FastThis focuses on product listing, which is relevant to all stores but lacks B2B-specific functionality.
If I sell both vintage items and provide customer support, should I get both apps?
Potentially, yes. FastThis will improve your product creation workflow for vintage items, while Impersonator will improve your ability to provide direct customer support. However, explore alternatives to each app to ensure you are choosing the optimal solution for each need.
