FAVS Wishlist Bar vs Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referralfor Shopify (2026)
FAVS Wishlist Bar and Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referral are both Shopify apps aiming to enhance customer experience and loyalty, but they approach this goal from vastly different angles. FAVS Wishlist Bar, indicated by its name, likely focuses on enabling customers to create wishlists, a feature aimed at increasing engagement and purchase intent. However, with only 5 reviews, its reliability and impact are difficult to ascertain. Loyoly, on the other hand, is a comprehensive loyalty and referral program designed to boost customer retention and generate user-generated content (UGC). It offers a wide range of customizable features, including over 40 missions to encourage customer engagement and reward them for various actions beyond just purchases, indicating a more sophisticated and holistic approach to customer loyalty. The key difference lies in their scope. FAVS Wishlist Bar appears to be a single-feature app focusing on wishlists, potentially simpler to implement but with a limited impact. Loyoly provides a full suite of loyalty and referral marketing tools, requiring more setup but offering potentially greater returns through increased customer engagement and brand advocacy. Loyoly's significant review count suggests it is a more established and widely used solution, hinting at greater reliability and support. This makes Loyoly a likely preferred choice for merchants serious about developing a comprehensive loyalty program, assuming its broader feature set aligns with their goals.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, potentially free or low-cost way to enable wishlists, FAVS Wishlist Bar *might* suffice, but the extremely low review count raises concerns about reliability and support. Loyoly is the clear choice for merchants serious about building a robust loyalty and referral program. Its comprehensive feature set, focus on UGC, and larger user base (indicated by the higher number of reviews) provide a more compelling value proposition, even if it requires a greater initial investment of time and potentially money.
In essence, if your goal is simply to add a wishlist feature, further investigation into FAVS Wishlist Bar's features and support quality is needed. However, if your goal is to create a holistic customer loyalty ecosystem, Loyoly is the far more comprehensive and potentially effective solution. The considerable difference in review count should weigh heavily towards Loyoly's favor in most scenarios.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the provided descriptions, FAVS Wishlist Bar is likely simpler to set up due to its limited functionality. Loyoly claims a '3-minute setup', but this likely refers to the initial configuration, not the full customization and management of the loyalty program.
Which app is better for generating user-generated content (UGC)?
