FAVS Wishlist Bar vs Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
FAVS Wishlist Bar and Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder both operate within the Customer Loyalty category on Shopify, but cater to vastly different needs and merchant types. FAVS Wishlist Bar, with a perfect 5/5 rating, appears to focus on a very specific functionality: providing a wishlist bar. Its small number of reviews suggests it's either a new app or targets a very niche audience. Shopney, on the other hand, offers a comprehensive solution for converting a Shopify store into a native mobile app for iOS and Android. Its high rating and extensive review count indicate a well-established app with a broad user base. Shopney's core value proposition revolves around increasing sales and customer retention by offering a faster, more personalized shopping experience via a mobile app. It emphasizes ease of use with a no-code, one-click setup and includes features like push notifications, live chat, and integrations with other Shopify apps. FAVS Wishlist Bar's purpose is likely to be far more granular, aimed at enhancing the user experience on the existing web store. While both contribute to customer loyalty, they do so through drastically different means and at significantly different scales of investment and complexity.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, targeted solution to implement a wishlist feature, FAVS Wishlist Bar might be sufficient, especially if budget and technical resources are limited. However, the low review count raises questions about its long-term reliability and support.
Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder is the clear choice for merchants serious about building a mobile presence and significantly impacting their sales and customer retention. While it likely requires a higher investment in terms of time and potentially cost, the comprehensive feature set, established user base (indicated by the high review count), and focus on support make it a more strategic choice for businesses aiming for significant growth and a competitive advantage.
Common Questions
Which app requires more technical expertise to set up and maintain?
Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder claims a 'one-click' setup and no coding, suggesting minimal technical expertise is needed. FAVS Wishlist Bar, based on its limited feature set, likely requires even less technical knowledge, however, it would likely require integrating with the existing theme and web store setup.
Which app offers better long-term scalability and potential for growth?
Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder provides a more scalable solution due to its comprehensive feature set, integration capabilities, and potential to reach a wider audience through mobile channels. FAVS Wishlist Bar's impact is limited to existing website visitors and wishlist usage.
Which app is more likely to impact my marketing ad spend, based on the provided information?
Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder explicitly states it helps 'decrease marketing ad spend' by increasing retention and repeat sales without relying on expensive social ads. FAVS Wishlist Bar does not make any claims related to marketing ad spend reduction.
If I only want to improve customer experience on my existing website, which app is more suitable?
FAVS Wishlist Bar is designed to improve the user experience on your existing website through wishlist functionality. Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder creates an entirely new mobile app experience separate from your website.
What should I be cautious about when choosing FAVS Wishlist Bar?
The significantly low number of reviews (5) for FAVS Wishlist Bar should be a point of caution. It suggests a lack of widespread adoption or could indicate it's a very new app, which means the long-term support and reliability may be unproven.
