FeedbackMe Button vs QTA Quiz: Segment & Recommendfor Shopify (2026)
FeedbackMe Button and QTA Quiz: Segment & Recommend are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Forms' category, but they address fundamentally different needs. It positions itself as a simple, easy-to-install solution for collecting suggestions and uncovering conversion blockers. Our Verdict
QTA Quiz: Segment & Recommend is the clearly preferable app at this time, given its 5/5 rating and positive user reviews, indicating that it delivers on its promises. Its proactive approach to customer segmentation and product recommendations also offers a more targeted strategy for increasing sales. FeedbackMe Button, while conceptually useful for gathering feedback, lacks any user reviews to validate its claims or demonstrate its effectiveness. For merchants needing to understand why customers aren't converting and have limited resources, FeedbackMe Button could be an option to consider for its simplicity. However, the absence of any social proof makes it a much riskier choice than QTA Quiz.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
The FeedbackMe Button description claims it is very easy to install. The data available on QTA Quiz doesn't address ease of use.
Which app is better for understanding why customers are abandoning their carts?
FeedbackMe Button is specifically designed to gather feedback on why customers don't convert, while QTA Quiz focuses on product recommendations. Therefore, FeedbackMe Button is the better choice for understanding cart abandonment reasons, in theory, though it lacks any user verification.
Which app is more likely to directly increase sales?
QTA Quiz: Segment & Recommend is more directly linked to increasing sales through personalized product recommendations. FeedbackMe Button aims to improve conversion rates by addressing customer concerns, which is a more indirect approach. However, success with FeedbackMe depends heavily on acting on the insights gained.
Is one app better suited for a particular size of Shopify store?
QTA Quiz might be more beneficial for stores with a wider product selection, where personalized recommendations can significantly enhance the shopping experience. FeedbackMe Button could be useful for smaller stores seeking to understand basic customer concerns, but this is speculative.
What are the risks associated with using FeedbackMe Button?
The primary risk is the lack of social proof. Without any reviews, it's impossible to know if the app functions as described or provides any value. The potential reward of gathering useful feedback has to be balanced against the risk of installing a non-functional or unsupported app.
