FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds vs Feedoptimise Products Exporterfor Shopify (2026)
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds and Feedoptimise Products Exporter are both Shopify apps designed to help merchants manage and export product data, but they cater to significantly different needs and technical expertise. FeedFix is a comprehensive solution aimed at simplifying the creation and management of product feeds for various marketplaces like Google, Meta, and many others. It focuses on ease of use through templates and broad compatibility, targeting merchants who want to expand their reach through multiple sales channels without extensive technical knowledge. Feedoptimise, on the other hand, is a much simpler app focused on providing a daily updated JSON export of product data. Its target audience is merchants with technical skills who need raw data for internal development, data science purposes, or integration with other data management platforms. The core difference lies in the output format and intended use. FeedFix provides XML feeds tailored for specific marketing platforms, while Feedoptimise offers a raw JSON export. FeedFix emphasizes a user-friendly interface and features like multi-currency support and manual sync, which suggests a broader, less technically inclined user base. Feedoptimise prioritizes the freshness and accessibility of the data, implicitly catering to developers and data scientists. The considerable disparity in review count, with FeedFix having 80 reviews compared to Feedoptimise's 3, also indicates a larger user base and potentially a more mature product. Therefore, the choice between the two will heavily depend on the merchant's technical expertise and intended use case for the product data.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward solution to export product feeds to various marketplaces and advertising platforms with minimal technical effort, FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is the clear choice. Its marketplace templates, multi-currency support, and manual sync provide a user-friendly experience tailored to boosting sales across multiple channels. The higher review count also suggests a more established and reliable product.
However, if a merchant requires raw product data in JSON format for internal development, data science projects, or integration with custom data management systems, Feedoptimise Products Exporter is the better option. Its daily updates ensure data freshness, crucial for analytical purposes. Although it requires more technical expertise, the value lies in providing unfiltered data ready for custom processing. The smaller user base implies a niche focus for technically proficient users.
