FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds vs inkFrog for eBayfor Shopify (2026)
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds and inkFrog for eBay are both Shopify apps aimed at helping merchants sell online, but they address fundamentally different needs. FeedFix focuses on expanding product reach through diverse marketplaces and channels via customizable product feeds, offering extensive support for multi-language, multi-market, and multi-currency exports and imports. inkFrog for eBay, on the other hand, specifically targets eBay sellers, providing tools for managing eBay listings and operations. While both aim to increase sales, their approaches and target audiences diverge significantly. FeedFix boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 80 reviews, suggesting high user satisfaction. Its strength lies in its broad channel support, detailed product data customization, and ease of integration with various platforms like Google, Meta, and numerous others. This makes it ideal for merchants seeking to diversify their online presence beyond their Shopify store. In contrast, inkFrog for eBay, with a 3.9/5 rating based on 183 reviews, suggests a more mixed user experience, though the higher number of reviews indicates a larger user base. Its strength is its specific focus on eBay, providing tools tailored to that platform's unique requirements. However, it doesn't offer the same level of channel diversification or product feed customization as FeedFix.

Our Verdict
The choice between FeedFix and inkFrog for eBay depends entirely on the merchant's sales strategy. If a merchant's primary focus is eBay and they need tools to streamline their eBay listing process, inkFrog for eBay is the more suitable option. However, if a merchant is looking to expand beyond Shopify and eBay to multiple marketplaces and price comparison engines, while having granular control over their product data feeds, FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is the clear winner. Its broader channel support and advanced customization options provide the flexibility needed for a multi-channel sales approach. The higher rating for FeedFix may also be a factor for merchants prioritizing a highly-rated app.
Essentially, inkFrog is for eBay specialists, and FeedFix is for generalists seeking multi-channel growth. Merchants solely selling on eBay won't gain much from FeedFix, while those avoiding eBay will find inkFrog irrelevant. The ratings and feature sets clearly reflect this divergence.
