FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds vs Shuttle ‑ Sync with Etsyfor Shopify (2026)
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds and Shuttle ‑ Sync with Etsy serve distinctly different purposes for Shopify merchants. FeedFix focuses on expanding reach and sales by streamlining product feed management across various online marketplaces, affiliate networks, and price comparison engines like Google and Meta. It is designed for merchants aiming for broad market exposure and efficient product data management across numerous channels. Shuttle, on the other hand, is geared towards merchants who sell on both Shopify and Etsy, offering real-time synchronization between the two platforms to simplify inventory, order, and review management. While FeedFix emphasizes exporting and importing product data for broad market distribution, Shuttle centers around seamlessly integrating Shopify with an Etsy shop. FeedFix’s strength lies in its multi-language, multi-market, and multi-currency support, as well as its ability to create custom feeds. Shuttle distinguishes itself through unlimited product transfers, real-time syncing of stock levels, and automated order fulfillment. The 'selling online' category is a bit broad for both, as the real difference is if a merchant needs feed optimization to many external channels, or syncing to Etsy only.

Our Verdict
If a merchant is looking to expand their product visibility and manage listings across a multitude of platforms like Google Shopping, Facebook, or smaller niche marketplaces, FeedFix is the more suitable choice. Its custom feed creation and multi-currency support cater to businesses with complex inventory and global reach. Conversely, if a merchant's primary need is to efficiently manage a dual presence on Shopify and Etsy, Shuttle is the clear winner. Its real-time syncing and automated features drastically reduce the overhead of managing two separate storefronts.
While FeedFix boasts a perfect 5-star rating, Shuttle's larger review count (186 vs 80) suggests broader adoption and likely more extensive real-world usage and testing. However, the slightly lower rating may indicate some areas for improvement. If the merchant's business relies heavily on Etsy, the slightly lower rating is not a significant drawback.
Common Questions
Can FeedFix sync product listings directly to my Etsy shop?
No, FeedFix is designed for exporting product feeds to a wide range of marketplaces and channels, but doesn't offer direct Etsy integration. Shuttle is specifically for Shopify-Etsy integration.
Does Shuttle support multiple Shopify stores syncing to a single Etsy store?
The app description does not explicitly state if multiple Shopify stores can sync to one Etsy store. Further documentation or contacting the app developer is recommended.
Which app is better for handling out-of-stock items?
FeedFix allows you to control the visibility of out-of-stock items in your exported feeds. Shuttle focuses on real-time stock syncing to prevent overselling, which also addresses out-of-stock items.
Can I use FeedFix to import product data *from* Etsy?
The app description doesn't mention importing from Etsy specifically. FeedFix focuses on importing products with advanced data customizations and filtering in general. It's designed to consolidate data from other shops or systems, not explicitly to import from Etsy.
Is it possible to customize the product information that is transferred between Shopify and Etsy with Shuttle?
Yes, Shuttle offers tools like auto-SKU generation, price conversion, batch editors, and shipping profile matching, which allow for customization of product information during the sync process.
