FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds vs Store Clone ‑ Easy Migrationfor Shopify (2026)
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds and Store Clone ‑ Easy Migration are both Shopify apps catering to the "Selling online" category, but address fundamentally different needs. FeedFix focuses on expanding reach and sales through product feed management across various marketplaces, price comparison engines, and affiliate networks. Its strength lies in its comprehensive support for multi-channel marketing and customizable feed options. On the other hand, Store Clone streamlines the process of duplicating Shopify stores, primarily targeting merchants managing multiple brands, testing new strategies, or needing development environments. The core distinction lies in their functionalities. FeedFix helps merchants distribute their existing products to a wider audience, optimizing product data for different platforms. Store Clone, in contrast, focuses on simplifying the creation of new, identical or slightly modified Shopify storefronts. Therefore, the choice between these apps hinges on whether a merchant's priority is expanding their reach through product feeds or efficiently managing multiple Shopify stores.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting sales through diverse channels and needing granular control over product data for different marketplaces, FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is the superior choice. Its robust feature set and strong user rating suggest a reliable and effective solution for product feed management.
However, if the primary need is to efficiently duplicate Shopify stores for managing multiple brands, creating testing environments, or migrating store setups, Store Clone ‑ Easy Migration is more suitable. While its rating and review count are significantly lower, its specialized functionality directly addresses the challenges of multi-store management. Consider carefully if a 3/5 rating and only one review is acceptable, or if a more established store cloning app should be sought out.
Common Questions
Which app helps me sell on more platforms?
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is designed to export product feeds to various platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and others, thus facilitating sales across more channels. Store Clone does not assist with that.
Can I use these apps to move products between my own Shopify stores?
Store Clone is better suited for replicating *entire* stores, including products. While FeedFix can import products, it is designed more for enriching and optimizing existing products via feed data.
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Store Clone seems to prioritize a one-click setup. FeedFix, with its extensive features, might require more initial configuration depending on the complexity of desired feeds.
What if I only want to copy customers between stores? Which app is best?
Store Clone states that it can select and migrate customers. FeedFix is centered around product data and feeds, so would not be able to migrate customer data.
How important are user reviews when choosing?
User reviews offer valuable insight into the app's usability, reliability, and customer support. FeedFix has a significantly higher number of positive reviews, suggesting a more proven track record. Store Clone's single review makes it harder to gauge its overall quality and support. Extra research is needed to find more information or alternatives.
