FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds vs Ultimate Product ID Exporterfor Shopify (2026)
FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds and Ultimate Product ID Exporter address vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. FeedFix focuses on expanding a merchant's reach by managing and exporting product feeds to various marketing channels and marketplaces like Google, Meta, and others, supporting multi-language, multi-market, and multi-currency operations. It streamlines product data distribution and import. Ultimate Product ID Exporter, conversely, is concerned with internal product data management, enabling merchants to export detailed product information (including IDs, metafields, and inventory data) into Excel sheets for internal reporting, developer access, or third-party sharing. The core distinction lies in their primary function: FeedFix is designed for *outward* product distribution and marketing automation, while Ultimate Product ID Exporter serves *inward* data organization and management. FeedFix provides marketplace templates and customization for feed creation, while Ultimate Product ID Exporter gives merchants a drag-and-drop editor to create custom export templates. This makes FeedFix ideal for scaling sales across multiple channels, and Ultimate Product ID Exporter useful for stores needing detailed product information readily available in a structured format.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming to expand their online presence and automate product listings across multiple marketplaces and advertising platforms, FeedFix | Custom XML Feeds is the clear choice. Its focus on product feed creation and management for channels like Google and Meta makes it invaluable for scaling sales reach. The superior rating and substantial number of reviews further strengthen its credibility.
However, if a merchant's primary need is to extract and organize comprehensive product data, including IDs, metafields, and inventory details, into an Excel format for internal analysis, developer collaboration, or sharing with third parties, the Ultimate Product ID Exporter is the more suitable option. Its custom template builder and specific ID-focused export features cater directly to this need, though the low number of reviews should be considered.
