FeedHub: Google Shopping Feed vs Pin it: Pinterest Save Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
FeedHub: Google Shopping Feed and Pin it: Pinterest Save Button are both highly-rated Shopify apps (4.9/5), but they serve entirely different purposes. FeedHub focuses on helping merchants create and manage product feeds for various online advertising platforms like Google Shopping, Facebook, and TikTok Shop. Its strength lies in its ability to handle large product catalogs (up to 1 million) and automate the submission and updating of product feeds. This is a sophisticated app designed for merchants looking to actively manage and optimize their paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels. Pin it: Pinterest Save Button, on the other hand, is a much simpler app designed to encourage organic sharing of website content on Pinterest. It allows visitors to easily save products and other content from your website directly to their Pinterest boards, potentially driving more traffic and sales through Pinterest's discovery platform. While both apps are in the "Selling online, Product feeds" category, the 'product feed' aspect of Pin It is implicit, whereas FeedHub's is explicit and central to its functionality. Pin It is primarily targeting merchants looking to increase brand visibility and drive sales through organic Pinterest marketing, focusing on ease of use and social sharing.
