Common Questions
Which app is better for Google Shopping Ads?
FeedHub: Google Shopping Feed is specifically designed for Google Shopping Ads and offers features to optimize your product feed for better performance. Shopify Marketplace Connect allows selling on Google Shopping but is not its primary strength.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but with caution. They address different needs. Using both might lead to data conflicts if product information is managed in both apps. It would be best to analyze if the benefit of a dedicated feed optimization outweighs the complexity created by using both apps to manage separate marketplaces.
Which app is easier to set up?
Shopify Marketplace Connect is likely easier to set up for the primary purpose of listing products on marketplaces due to its seamless integration. FeedHub might require more effort initially due to feed customization options.
Which app supports selling in multiple countries and currencies?
FeedHub mentions 'multi-language, multi-currency product feed'. Shopify Marketplace Connect states 'Sell in all marketplace regions and categories with built-in currency conversion'. Both support international selling, however FeedHub focuses on advertising, and Shopify Marketplace Connect focuses on marketplace sales.
Which app is better for large product catalogs?
FeedHub specifically states 'Easily syncs up to 1M products & variants without any issues'. Shopify Marketplace Connect does not specify a product limit but focuses on the management aspect of a large product catalog.
