Our Verdict
The choice between these two apps depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the priority is improving internal organization and managing a large volume of files within the Shopify platform, 'File Manager ‑ Custom Folders' might be a suitable choice, assuming its custom folder functionality addresses these challenges. However, the lower rating and fewer reviews make it difficult to assess its effectiveness confidently.
If the primary goal is to enhance marketing efforts through optimized URLs and gain insights into link performance, 'Link Shortener ‑ Pasilobus' appears to be the better option. Its perfect rating (although based on a single review) and the clear value proposition of branded short links and real-time analytics make it a compelling choice for merchants focused on driving traffic and conversions through strategically managed links. The single review, however, warrants caution. It is worth checking for alternative apps if link shortening and analytics are critical.
