Filetastic ‑ Image Manager vs Magepow Infinite Scrollfor Shopify (2026)
Filetastic ‑ Image Manager and Magepow Infinite Scroll cater to entirely different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, although both fall under the 'Storefronts - Other' category. Filetastic focuses on backend file management, aiming to streamline the organization and utilization of images and files within a Shopify store. It offers features for browsing, organizing, and editing files directly within the Shopify interface, removing the need for external cloud storage. In contrast, Magepow Infinite Scroll addresses the frontend customer experience by enabling continuous scrolling on collection and search pages, eliminating the need for pagination and potentially improving engagement. Our Verdict
The choice between Filetastic ‑ Image Manager and Magepow Infinite Scroll depends heavily on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. If the primary concern is disorganized image and file management, and the merchant spends significant time searching for and uploading files, Filetastic is the clear winner. It aims to provide a centralized and efficient system.
However, if the focus is on improving the customer shopping experience and reducing friction in browsing collection pages, Magepow Infinite Scroll is the more suitable option. Merchants aiming to increase engagement and reduce bounce rates from collection pages by eliminating pagination will benefit from its features. Although Magepow has a higher rating and more reviews, keep in mind the small sample size. Both apps serve niche but important functions. It's important to consider which problem needs addressing more urgently.
