Filetastic ‑ Image Manager vs Poloriz ‑ Shoppable Storiesfor Shopify (2026)
Filetastic ‑ Image Manager and Poloriz ‑ Shoppable Stories, while sharing a 'Storefronts - Other' Shopify category, serve fundamentally different purposes. Filetastic targets merchants struggling with image and file organization, offering a centralized solution to manage, edit, and utilize their store's visual assets. It aims to simplify the often cumbersome process of handling product images, collections, and article imagery, essentially providing a digital asset management system directly within Shopify. Our Verdict
The choice between Filetastic and Poloriz depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. Filetastic is ideal for merchants who prioritize organization and control over their image assets and are experiencing difficulties managing their product imagery. Poloriz, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants who are looking to enhance their storefront with engaging visual content, drive conversions through interactive experiences, and appeal to customers who are familiar with social media story formats. For a merchant who needs both image management and storefront enhancement, these apps could complement each other, but for a merchant on a budget, the choice will depend on the primary business need.
