Filljoy Order Catch Weights vs Postsell: Order Editing Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Filljoy Order Catch Weights and Postsell: Order Editing Upsell both offer order editing capabilities for Shopify merchants, but cater to distinct needs. Filljoy is highly specialized, targeting merchants selling products by catch weight, such as butchers, fishmongers, and produce vendors. Its primary strength lies in its ability to accurately adjust order weights and prices for items difficult to portion, ensuring precise fulfillment and billing. The app directly edits orders or draft orders, streamlining the process for catch weight businesses. However, Filljoy currently lacks support for Shopify Local Delivery orders. Postsell: Order Editing Upsell is a more general-purpose order editing solution, indicated by the 'Upsell' portion of the name. While the feature set is not detailed in the prompt, the name suggests a focus on adding value to existing orders through editing and upselling opportunities. While Filljoy focuses on very specific industries, Postsell likely targets a broader Shopify merchant base seeking to modify orders and potentially increase revenue. Postsell also has significantly more reviews than Filljoy, suggesting a larger user base.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling products by catch weight (meat, seafood, produce), Filljoy Order Catch Weights is the clear choice despite the low number of reviews. Its focus on precise weight and price adjustments directly addresses their unique needs. The inability to use with Shopify Local Delivery may be a drawback for some.
For other merchants who simply need to edit orders and potentially upsell, Postsell: Order Editing Upsell is likely the better option. The higher review count suggests greater reliability and a larger user base, although specific functionality beyond order editing and upselling is unknown. If Shopify Local Delivery is important, consider Postsell as Filljoy doesn't support it.
