Finaloop vs Singleton | Dual Price Displayfor Shopify (2026)
Finaloop and Singleton | Dual Price Display, while both categorized under Shopify's 'Finances' apps, address entirely different needs within the e-commerce ecosystem. Finaloop is a comprehensive accounting solution tailored for e-commerce brands, offering a full-service bookkeeping experience including real-time software, expert accountants, and inventory management. It aims to provide financial clarity and streamline accounting processes, especially focusing on complex areas like inventory and COGS calculations. Its target audience is founders and e-commerce businesses seeking accurate, tax-ready financials and dashboards to manage their business performance. Singleton | Dual Price Display, on the other hand, is a highly specialized app focused on price presentation. It's designed for merchants who sell to both B2B and B2C customers, or who need to comply with varying tax regulations. Its strength lies in its ability to display both tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive prices, configurable based on customer location, product type, or customer tags. It is not an accounting app in any capacity and would be valuable for merchants with complex pricing or tax needs, especially where transparency is paramount. While Finaloop offers a broad solution, Singleton provides a targeted enhancement for a very specific pain point.

Our Verdict
Finaloop is the clear choice for businesses struggling with accounting and inventory management, seeking a comprehensive, outsourced solution. Its strengths lie in providing accurate, tax-ready financials and insightful dashboards. The higher rating, while based on fewer reviews, suggests strong satisfaction amongst its users requiring that level of support. However, it comes at the expense of cost since it's a full-service offering.
Singleton | Dual Price Display is ideal for stores needing to display prices with and without tax, primarily those selling to both B2B and B2C customers or navigating complex international tax rules. It is a cost-effective solution for a focused pricing problem. If your accounting is already in order, and your sole issue is dual price presentation, Singleton is the obvious winner.
Common Questions
Does Finaloop handle tax filings?
While it provides tax-ready financials, it is not explicitly stated whether Finaloop handles the actual tax filing process. Further investigation with Finaloop would be beneficial here.
Can Singleton | Dual Price Display calculate VAT?
