Our Verdict
Choosing between Fincart and Zippy depends entirely on the specific challenges a merchant faces. Fincart would be the better choice for merchants who struggle with managing multiple shipping carriers, optimizing shipping costs, or need fast cash reconciliation, especially if they operate significantly within Egypt. It offers a broader shipping management solution. On the other hand, Zippy is ideal for merchants who need fine-grained control over product availability based on location. For example, those selling perishable goods with limited delivery range, or those wanting to test product popularity in specific areas before expanding delivery zones. Given the lack of reviews for Fincart, careful consideration and perhaps direct contact with the vendor are essential before committing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is explicitly targeted toward dropshipping. However, if the dropshipper handles shipping setup directly and needs rate comparisons across multiple couriers, Fincart *might* be relevant. Zippy is unlikely to be useful for standard dropshipping models.
Does Fincart support shipping to the US?
The description mentions shipping to 220+ countries and territories worldwide, which should include the US, assuming appropriate courier integrations are in place. However, the app's primary focus seems to be in Egypt.
Can Zippy be used to restrict shipping of certain products to specific states within the US?
Yes, Zippy allows you to restrict shipping based on zipcode, which can be configured to apply to specific states or regions within any country supported by your store.
Is Fincart more expensive than Zippy?
Pricing information is not provided for either app. Therefore, it's impossible to determine which is more expensive without further research.
If I only ship locally within my city, which app is more relevant?
Zippy could be useful for defining specific delivery zones within your city. Fincart could also be relevant if it offers favorable rates with local couriers compared to using the couriers directly. Evaluate your specific needs and the rates offered by each.
