Findter Custom Filter & Search vs Omakase.ai | Voice AI Agentfor Shopify (2026)
Findter Custom Filter & Search focuses on improving product discovery through advanced filtering and search functionalities. It aims to enhance the pre-sale customer journey by enabling customers to quickly find specific products based on various criteria such as metafields, collections, tags, and more. Merchants can customize filter sets for each collection and gain insights through real-time analytics. Omakase.ai | Voice AI Agent, on the other hand, is positioned as a virtual in-store sales associate powered by AI. It leverages voice technology to offer personalized recommendations, answer questions, and compare products, aiming to improve conversions and reduce support load. The primary difference lies in their approach to customer interaction. Findter enhances the existing browsing experience with better search and filtering tools, placing control directly in the customer's hands. Omakase.ai provides an interactive, voice-driven AI agent that actively guides and assists customers, simulating a conversation with a human salesperson. While both fall under the 'Upsell and bundles - Other' category, Findter directly tackles product discovery challenges, whereas Omakase.ai focuses on a more personalized, AI-driven sales experience. Both currently have limited review data, making a definitive assessment challenging. Both apps aim to enhance the shopping experience but cater to different needs. Findter seeks to optimize product search and filtering; Omakase.ai wants to personalize sales interactions using voice AI. A merchant deciding between the two should carefully consider if their store would benefit more from structured product discovery features or the conversational AI sales experience.

Our Verdict
For merchants with extensive product catalogs or products with numerous attributes, Findter Custom Filter & Search offers a targeted solution to improve product findability. The customization options and real-time analytics allow for data-driven optimization of the pre-sale journey.
Omakase.ai | Voice AI Agent is best suited for merchants looking to create a personalized, interactive shopping experience. Businesses seeking to emulate the in-store sales associate experience and those wanting to reduce customer support inquiries might find Omakase.ai a valuable addition. However, given the zero rating and low number of reviews for both, a cautious approach is advised for both apps until more data emerges. Thoroughly evaluate both apps' capabilities and test them during trial periods before committing.
