Fira: Easy 3D & AR Products vs Sclips Shoppable Videos Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
Fira: Easy 3D & AR Products and Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels both aim to enhance the customer experience on Shopify stores through engaging content, but they cater to distinct needs. Fira focuses on immersive product visualization via 3D models and Augmented Reality, allowing customers to interact with products in a more realistic way before purchasing. It's geared towards merchants who want to showcase product details and reduce return rates by giving customers a better sense of the product's form and function. Sclips, on the other hand, centers on leveraging video content, particularly shoppable Reels, Stories, and UGC reminiscent of TikTok and Instagram. Its primary goal is to boost engagement, improve conversion rates (CRO), and drive sales by presenting products in action and educating users through video. Sclips appears to target merchants who already have a strong social media presence or plan to utilize video marketing extensively, seeking to seamlessly integrate this content onto their Shopify stores. The significantly higher number of reviews suggests wider adoption and a more established presence in the Shopify app ecosystem.

Our Verdict
For merchants focused on providing an immersive, detailed product experience, particularly for items where visualization is crucial (e.g., home goods, apparel), Fira: Easy 3D & AR Products is likely the better choice, assuming the 3D models are high quality. However, the very low number of reviews presents a risk. Merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app.
If the priority is to leverage existing or planned video content, particularly from social media platforms, and to boost engagement and sales through dynamic video presentations, Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels is the stronger option. The higher review count suggests greater reliability and user satisfaction. Its focus on ease of use and performance optimization (no impact on store speed) are also compelling advantages.
