Our Verdict
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its significantly higher rating and substantial number of positive reviews provide much greater confidence in its functionality and reliability. The comprehensive feature set, including loyalty program integration, also makes it a more valuable solution for merchants looking to build customer loyalty and drive sales.
First Wish ‑ Wishlist & Boards might be suitable only for very small or new businesses with extremely limited budgets and extremely basic wishlist needs, however, even then the risk associated with such low reviews is high. The minimal features are unlikely to provide significant value compared to Froonze, especially when considering long-term customer retention and growth.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to install and use?
While both apps claim to be easy to install, Froonze may involve a steeper learning curve due to its broader feature set, which involves loyalty programs in addition to wishlist functionality. First Wish, with its focus solely on wishlists and curated lists, is likely simpler to set up and manage for users who only need basic wishlist features.
Does either app offer email marketing integration?
The description of Froonze mentioned customizable email notification templates, which suggests an integration to send out emails based on wishlist activities or loyalty program updates. There's no mention of email marketing integration for First Wish.
Which app is better for a store with many guest customers?
First Wish explicitly states that it works for both registered customers and visitors. Froonze does not explicitly mention this in the details provided; thus, First Wish would be best suited for guest customers. It is recommended to verify if Froonze supports guest wishlist functionality if it's a key requirement.
Which app is better for building long-term customer loyalty?
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is explicitly designed to build customer loyalty through its points, VIP tiers, referrals, and store credit rewards. First Wish lacks any loyalty program features, making Froonze the superior choice for long-term customer retention.
Which app has better customer support?
Based on the available data, we cannot determine which app has better customer support directly. However, the large difference in review count and rating suggests that Froonze is likely to provide more reliable support or have fewer issues requiring support. More reviews are likely to represent more users experiencing support which can either make or break a brand.
