Fish Wishlist vs Mgroup Dynamic Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Fish Wishlist and Mgroup Dynamic Price are Shopify apps targeting distinct aspects of e-commerce functionality. Fish Wishlist focuses on enhancing the customer experience through wishlists, B2B features, and POS integration, aiming to boost sales and customer engagement across multiple channels. It emphasizes ease of setup and omnichannel capabilities, suggesting a focus on merchants seeking to expand their reach and improve customer loyalty. Mgroup Dynamic Price, on the other hand, concentrates on dynamic pricing adjustments based on customer tags, seeking to optimize profitability through personalized pricing strategies. While both apps technically fall under the 'Pricing quotes' category, they address very different needs. Fish Wishlist positions itself as an all-in-one solution for wishlist management, extending beyond basic functionality to include B2B quote requests and seamless integration with Shopify POS. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set and emphasis on ease of use, evidenced by the "2 Minute Setup" claim and the availability of white-glove installation. Mgroup Dynamic Price focuses on custom pricing logic. Its strength is its ability to personalize pricing and it has limited integration capabilities. A significant difference is that certain key features of Mgroup Dynamic Price are exclusively available on Shopify Plus, limiting its accessibility to smaller merchants. It seems to be targeted toward merchants with established customer segmentation looking to optimize profits with differentiated pricing. Fish Wishlist has 7 reviews with a perfect 5/5 rating, while Mgroup Dynamic Price has no reviews and a 0/5 rating.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to implement or improve their wishlist functionality, especially those operating in the B2B space or looking for POS integration, Fish Wishlist is the clear choice. Its positive reviews and comprehensive feature set, coupled with its claimed ease of use, make it a compelling option. The availability of white-glove installation further reduces the barrier to entry. It is important to note that Fish Wishlist's B2B features may or may not be as crucial as dynamic pricing itself.
On the other hand, Mgroup Dynamic Price is better suited for Shopify Plus merchants with sophisticated customer segmentation strategies and a desire to optimize pricing based on customer attributes. However, the lack of reviews and the reliance on Shopify Plus limits its broad applicability. The potential complexity of creating custom pricing logic should also be considered. If dynamic pricing based on customer tags is the core goal and you have Shopify Plus, the app may be worth testing, but the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice compared to Fish Wishlist.
