Our Verdict
The choice between Fish Wishlist and Recurpay depends heavily on the business model. If a merchant primarily sells products and seeks to increase customer engagement, drive sales through wishlists, and cater to B2B customers, Fish Wishlist is the more suitable choice. Its emphasis on ease of use, POS integration, and social proof elements makes it ideal for businesses focusing on one-time purchases and omnichannel experiences. Conversely, if a merchant aims to build a recurring revenue stream through subscriptions, Recurpay is the clear winner. Its comprehensive subscription management features, customer portal, and dedicated support make it a robust solution for businesses transitioning to or optimizing a subscription-based model. The larger review count for Recurpay also provides some confidence in its reliability and feature set compared to the less reviewed Fish Wishlist.
Common Questions
Which app is better for B2B businesses?
Fish Wishlist is more suitable for B2B businesses due to its 'Request a Quote' feature and B2B pricing support, allowing for customized pricing and order processes.
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim to have a quick and easy setup, however, Fish Wishlist boasts a '2 Minute Setup' which suggests it may be slightly faster to get started than Recurpay.
Which app offers better customer support?
Recurpay offers 24/7 live human support, which is more comprehensive than the 'White Glove Installation' offered by Fish Wishlist. For ongoing support, Recurpay is the better option.
Can Fish Wishlist be used for subscription services?
While Fish Wishlist supports B2B pricing, it's not specifically designed for subscription management. Recurpay is the dedicated solution for handling subscriptions.
Which app is better for increasing average order value (AOV)?
Fish Wishlist, through its wishlist and social proof features, encourages customers to add more items to their cart. Recurpay increases customer lifetime value (CLTV) through recurring purchases, but Fish Wishlist is more directly aimed at increasing AOV on individual orders.
