Fit Quiz: Size recommendation vs Smart Size Chart & Size Guidefor Shopify (2026)
Fit Quiz: Size recommendation and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide both aim to reduce returns and increase sales by helping customers find the right size. However, they take different approaches. Fit Quiz uses an interactive quiz format to recommend sizes, focusing on speed and ease of use for first-time shoppers, and aims for SKU-level precision. This app emphasizes automated recommendations for returning customers and doesn't require merchants to manually input size charts. It focuses on clothing and footwear but currently lacks kidswear support. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide, on the other hand, focuses on providing visually appealing and highly customizable size charts. It caters to a broader range of product types, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, and even pets, and offers extensive design options to match store branding. Smart Size Chart & Size Guide caters to merchants who prefer a manual, design-focused approach to size guides. It allows for detailed customization and offers more templates for different product categories. Its strength lies in visual presentation and broad applicability. Fit Quiz, conversely, aims to automate the sizing process, minimizing manual setup and offering personalized recommendations based on customer input. The absence of sensitive body measurements and automatic recommendations for returning customers is a key differentiator, positioning it as a more privacy-focused and user-friendly option for apparel and footwear brands seeking to reduce returns and increase sales via an engaging quiz format.
