Fit Quiz: Size recommendation vs TableFlow Specification Tablefor Shopify (2026)
Fit Quiz: Size recommendation and TableFlow Specification Table are both Shopify apps aimed at enhancing the product display and improving the customer shopping experience, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. Fit Quiz focuses specifically on resolving size-related issues for clothing and footwear businesses, reducing returns and increasing sales by providing personalized size recommendations. It achieves this through a short quiz, tailored design options, and performance analytics. In contrast, TableFlow Specification Table is a more general-purpose tool designed to display product attributes and metafields in an organized and easily digestible format. It aims to reduce customer queries by providing comprehensive product information upfront, leveraging metafields and metaobjects. The primary difference lies in their focus. Fit Quiz targets clothing and footwear merchants struggling with sizing inaccuracies, while TableFlow targets merchants with complex product specifications who need to display detailed information, potentially across a wider range of product categories. The ease of use also differs. Fit Quiz emphasizes simplicity with no requirement for size charts, while TableFlow requires mapping metafields, which may demand a more technical setup. Both apps ultimately aim to improve customer satisfaction and reduce support requests, but they address different pain points in the customer journey.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling clothing and footwear, especially those experiencing high return rates due to sizing issues, Fit Quiz: Size recommendation is the clear choice. Its focus on personalized size recommendations, ease of setup (no need for complex size charts), and integration with fit-related data provide a direct solution to a common problem. TableFlow Specification Table, on the other hand, is more suitable for merchants selling products with complex specifications or a wide range of attributes that need to be clearly displayed. This app excels at organizing and presenting metafield data, making it ideal for businesses selling technical equipment, electronics, or products requiring detailed descriptions.
Ultimately, the 'better' app depends entirely on the specific needs of the merchant. A clothing store prioritizing size accuracy will find Fit Quiz indispensable, while a retailer selling electronics with complex specifications will likely benefit more from TableFlow's ability to present product information in a structured and accessible manner.
