FitIQ ‑ Try it On vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between FitIQ ‑ Try it On and ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels face a decision between a highly specialized app and a more established, feature-rich option. FitIQ, despite its perfect rating, suffers from extremely low adoption (only 2 reviews), suggesting it's either very new or caters to a niche market. Its 'Try it On' functionality implies a focus on visual product representation for apparel or accessories, allowing customers to virtually try on items. ReelUp, on the other hand, is a well-reviewed and widely adopted app (228 reviews) focused on shoppable video content, drawing inspiration from TikTok and Instagram. ReelUp provides tools to easily import and display videos, integrating them seamlessly into the store's design using carousels and story-like widgets. Its emphasis is on increasing user engagement, improving SEO through increased time spent on site, and boosting conversions with directly shoppable videos. A key selling point is its claim of zero impact on page loading speed, a crucial factor for maintaining a positive user experience. The integration with multi-currency and geolocation apps further suggests a broader appeal to international merchants.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling apparel or accessories and needing a virtual try-on solution, FitIQ might be worth investigating *if* they are able to confirm that it is still supported with further feature development given the very low review count. However, the lack of reviews and specific feature details makes it a riskier choice.
ReelUp is the clear choice for merchants looking to leverage the power of shoppable video content to boost conversions and engage customers. Its established user base, positive reviews, and focus on seamless integration and speed optimization make it a more reliable and versatile option for a wider range of e-commerce businesses.
