Fitting Room vs Fyttedfor Shopify (2026)
Fitting Room and Fytted both target the 3D/AR/VR space on Shopify, aiming to improve the online apparel shopping experience with virtual try-on functionality. However, they differ significantly in their approach and target audience. Fitting Room positions itself as a simple, seamless solution focused on ease of use and quick implementation. It allows shoppers to upload a photo and instantly visualize clothing on themselves, requiring minimal setup for merchants and customers. The emphasis is on driving immediate engagement and confidence without extensive configuration. Fytted, on the other hand, takes a more sophisticated, AI-powered approach. It aims to provide a comprehensive digital fitting room experience that goes beyond basic visualization, offering personalized recommendations and accurate size suggestions based on body shape, color palette, and real-time measurements. Fytted positions itself as a personal stylist, leveraging AI to deliver a highly customized and data-driven shopping experience. This approach requires more data input from shoppers to be effective but offers potentially greater value in terms of personalized guidance and improved fit accuracy.

Our Verdict
Fitting Room is best suited for merchants who prioritize ease of use and rapid deployment. If your goal is to quickly add a virtual try-on feature without significant overhead, and your customer base is comfortable with uploading photos, Fitting Room is the more appropriate choice. It's ideal for smaller stores or those wanting a simple, less data-intensive solution.
Fytted, however, is the better option for merchants who want to offer a more personalized and sophisticated shopping experience. If you are willing to invest in a more complex setup and your customers are willing to provide body measurements and preferences, Fytted's AI-powered recommendations and accurate fit analysis can significantly improve customer satisfaction and reduce returns. This app is ideal for larger stores or those focused on high-value purchases where personalization is key.
