flareAI: AI SEO Google & Blog vs SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txtfor Shopify (2026)
flareAI and SEO On are both Shopify apps designed to improve SEO, but they take different approaches and target distinct merchant types. flareAI positions itself as a comprehensive AI-powered marketing platform with features beyond basic SEO, including content marketing, distribution, and forecasting driven by AI agents. It aims to reduce reliance on traditional SEO methods and ad spend by providing an "always-on" solution. Conversely, SEO On focuses specifically on AEO (App Engine Optimization) using LLMs (Large Language Models) and seems dedicated to technical SEO and file optimization (implied by 'LLMs.txt'). This suggests a deeper dive into technical SEO aspects.

Our Verdict
SEO On, with its perfect rating and significantly more reviews, appears to be a strong choice for merchants specifically seeking advanced, technical SEO optimization focused on App Engine Optimization, potentially needing control over LLM settings and TXT files. flareAI, while having a lower rating and fewer reviews, is better suited for merchants looking for a broader, more hands-off AI-driven marketing platform that handles SEO, content creation, and distribution, particularly if they are looking to reduce ad spend and don't want to deal with the intricacies of technical SEO. Merchants should prioritize their needs—technical SEO versus a comprehensive AI marketing solution—when selecting an app.
