Our Verdict
For established merchants who require advanced security features like watermarking and license keys, and who need multilingual support, Flash Digital Downloads is the clearly superior choice. Its existing positive reviews provide social proof of its reliability. Sellzzy, with its focus on subscriptions, bundles, and customer rewards, might appeal to newer merchants looking for a simpler platform focused on customer engagement. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice until it can demonstrate its reliability and user satisfaction. If a merchant is unsure, Flash Digital Downloads is the safer bet due to its proven track record.
Common Questions
Which app is better for selling software with license keys?
Flash Digital Downloads explicitly mentions license keys as a key feature, making it the better option for selling software that requires license management. Sellzzy mentions 'automated license key distribution' but without user reviews, the reliability of this feature is unknown.
Which app is easier to set up for beginners?
Sellzzy positions itself as an easy-to-use platform, likely making it simpler for beginners. Flash Digital Downloads, with its broader range of features, including customization options, may require a steeper learning curve initially.
Which app offers better protection for my digital products?
