Flash Express Malaysia vs Partialy ‑ Partial Payment CODfor Shopify (2026)
Flash Express Malaysia and Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both falling under the 'Cash on Delivery' category. Flash Express aims to provide a comprehensive shipping solution primarily focused on express delivery services within Malaysia, emphasizing speed and cost-efficiency. In contrast, Partialy targets merchants seeking to improve sales conversion and reduce RTO (Return to Origin) by offering flexible payment options, including partial payments, deferred payments, and advanced Cash on Delivery (COD) rules. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Flash Express is a logistics and shipping app promising streamlined order management, same-day pick-ups, and nationwide coverage. Partialy, on the other hand, is a financial and sales-oriented app that allows customers to make partial payments at checkout, manage COD fees, and configure shipping rates based on payment type. While both might be tangentially related to COD, their approaches and target audiences are completely distinct. Flash Express aims to simplify the shipping process itself, while Partialy uses COD as one of several payment options to increase sales and reduce financial risks. Given the data, it's important to note the significant difference in user reviews. Flash Express has a very low rating and only one review, while Partialy boasts a perfect rating with a significantly higher number of reviews, suggesting a stronger user satisfaction and potentially a more robust and reliable service.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants based in Malaysia needing a local, express delivery service, Flash Express *could* be an option, but the extremely low rating and single review raise serious concerns about its reliability and functionality. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate before committing. Partialy is the far more compelling choice for merchants seeking to enhance their payment options and reduce RTO by offering flexible payment plans. Its perfect rating and higher review count suggest a more reliable and user-friendly experience.
In short, unless a Malaysian merchant has specific, unavoidable needs for Flash Express and is willing to take a significant risk, Partialy is the clearly recommended app. Partialy’s ability to allow partial payments, manage COD fees, and configure shipping rates based on payment type offers a more versatile and potentially beneficial solution for a broader range of merchants.
