Flash Express Philippines vs Progus COD (Cash on Delivery)for Shopify (2026)
Flash Express Philippines and Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) both operate within the Cash on Delivery (COD) category on the Shopify app store, but cater to distinctly different needs. Flash Express Philippines positions itself as an all-in-one delivery service for merchants based in the Philippines, promising fast and cost-efficient nationwide express delivery with 24/7 service. Its core value proposition centers on streamlining order fulfillment, shipment, and billing processes. However, with no ratings or reviews, its reliability is currently unverified. Progus COD, conversely, focuses exclusively on optimizing the COD payment process itself. It aims to increase COD sales through a 1-Click Order Form and smart COD rules that offer fine-grained control over COD availability based on various criteria like order value, customer tags, location, and product type. While only having a small number of reviews, it boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, suggesting positive initial user experiences, particularly regarding conversion rate optimization and risk management related to COD orders. Its target audience is merchants globally who want to reduce checkout friction and improve their COD management strategy, not necessarily shipping within the Philippines.

Our Verdict
For merchants in the Philippines seeking a comprehensive delivery solution encompassing order fulfillment and shipping logistics, Flash Express Philippines *might* be an option to explore, assuming they're willing to contact the sales team for onboarding and potentially be early adopters given the lack of reviews. However, the absence of ratings and reviews poses a significant risk.
For all other merchants worldwide who primarily want to optimize their existing COD payment process, increase conversions, and manage risks associated with COD, Progus COD appears to be the better choice. The perfect rating, despite limited reviews, and focus on 1-Click order forms and intelligent COD rules strongly suggest its efficacy in achieving these goals. It is especially suited for those struggling with abandoned carts and fraudulent COD orders.
