Flash Express Philippines vs RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Feefor Shopify (2026)
Flash Express Philippines and RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee both operate within the Cash on Delivery (COD) category on the Shopify app store, but they address fundamentally different needs. Flash Express Philippines positions itself as a comprehensive delivery service, primarily focused on merchants in the Philippines who require nationwide express shipping with integrated order and financial management. RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee, on the other hand, targets a broader audience of Shopify merchants aiming to customize and control their COD payment options, especially by adding fees and setting eligibility rules. The primary difference lies in their scope: Flash Express handles the entire logistics process, while RUBIX focuses solely on the financial aspects of COD transactions. Flash Express emphasizes its 24/7 service, free pick-ups, and complete workflow integration. Conversely, RUBIX highlights its customization options for COD fees and eligibility, checkout validations, and minimal impact on page speed. A major point of divergence is user feedback. RUBIX boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 9 reviews, suggesting positive user experiences. Flash Express, however, lacks any reviews, making it difficult to assess its reliability or effectiveness.

Our Verdict
For merchants operating primarily in the Philippines and seeking an end-to-end delivery solution with integrated order and financial management, Flash Express Philippines *could* be a worthwhile option, assuming they can address the current lack of user feedback and demonstrate reliable service. However, the zero rating and zero reviews make it a risky choice without further investigation.
RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee is the better choice for merchants globally who want granular control over their COD payment options. The positive reviews and specific feature set focused on fee management and eligibility rules make it a safer and potentially more immediately valuable investment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee appears easier to set up, touting a 'simple setup' while Flash Express Philippines requires contacting a sales team for onboarding, implying a more involved process.
Which app is more cost-effective?
It's impossible to say definitively based on the provided information. Flash Express Philippines mentions 'cost-efficient' delivery, but RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee allows adding fees to COD orders, potentially offsetting costs. The actual cost-effectiveness depends on the merchant's specific circumstances and order volume.
If I need shipping *and* COD management, which app should I choose?
Neither app provides both shipping and COD management in a complete package. Flash Express handles shipping but doesn't offer detailed COD customization like RUBIX. You might need to use both or look for another app that combines these functionalities if possible.
Which app has better customer support?
The available data doesn't provide insights into customer support quality for either app. The absence of reviews for Flash Express makes it impossible to gauge user satisfaction with their support.
Is Flash Express Philippines a legitimate app given the lack of reviews?
The lack of reviews is concerning but doesn't automatically invalidate the app's legitimacy. It simply means there's insufficient data to assess its reliability. Merchants should exercise caution and potentially contact the app developer directly for more information before committing to using it.
