Our Verdict
The choice between FlexCon Product Rental, Hire and Rubik Variant Images & Swatch depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If you run a rental business, FlexCon is the only viable option given its dedicated rental management features. However, the lack of reviews presents a risk, and thorough vetting would be necessary before committing to the app. If you operate a standard e-commerce store selling products with variations, Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is the clear winner. Its high rating and substantial number of positive reviews suggest it effectively addresses the challenge of showcasing product variants, ultimately leading to increased sales and reduced returns. Given the zero reviews and rental focus, Rubik would be the safer choice for most Shopify store owners.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Based on available information, Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is *likely* easier to use due to its high rating, significant review count, and claims of seamless integration with themes and page builders. The lack of reviews for FlexCon Product Rental, Hire makes it impossible to assess its ease of use.
Which app is more likely to increase sales?
Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is designed to directly increase sales by improving the visual representation of product variants and reducing customer confusion. FlexCon Product Rental, Hire, while essential for rental businesses, focuses on operational efficiency rather than direct sales increases, unless improving operations allows you to expand your rental offerings.
Can I use both apps together?
It is unlikely that a typical store owner would benefit from using both apps simultaneously. If you sell items outright *and* rent them, possibly you can use both. However, the store design and user interface would have to be meticulously planned for that store design to be helpful.
Which app is a safer bet for a new store owner in 2026?
Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is the safer bet due to its established user base, positive reviews, and clear focus on a common e-commerce challenge. FlexCon Product Rental, Hire is a riskier choice due to the lack of reviews, indicating it's either very new or has not gained traction for some reason.
