Flexify: Facebook Product Feed vs Pin it: Pinterest Save Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Flexify: Facebook Product Feed and Pin it: Pinterest Save Button serve distinctly different purposes for Shopify merchants in 2026. Flexify focuses on optimizing product catalogs and advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram). Its strength lies in providing extensive customization options for product feeds, including language/currency support, segment creation, and image template usage. This app targets merchants serious about leveraging Meta for sales and who require granular control over their product presentation. Pin it: Pinterest Save Button, on the other hand, is a simpler app designed to increase brand visibility and drive traffic via Pinterest. It emphasizes ease of use, allowing visitors to effortlessly share website content to Pinterest. This app is ideal for merchants looking for an uncomplicated way to tap into Pinterest's user base and boost product discovery. It emphasizes social sharing and user-generated content around the merchant's products. Despite sharing the 'Selling online' and 'Product feeds' Shopify categories, the focus and functionality of the apps are drastically different. Notably, Pin it: Pinterest Save Button has a higher rating (4.9/5 vs 4.2/5) and significantly more reviews (299 vs 138), potentially indicating higher user satisfaction or broader adoption. This, combined with its emphasis on a no-code setup indicates it is more user friendly than Flexify. However, merchants need to consider if generating brand awareness or optimizing product feeds on Meta is a higher business priority.
