Flexiti Monthly Payment Widget vs TryOnify: Try Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Flexiti Monthly Payment Widget and TryOnify: Try Before You Buy represent distinct approaches to payment flexibility for Shopify merchants in 2026. Flexiti aims to increase sales by showcasing affordable monthly payments through Flexiti financing directly on product pages and checkout. It targets merchants already partnered with Flexiti, providing an integrated way to display financing options. TryOnify, on the other hand, offers a "Try Now, Pay Later" model, focusing on reducing cart abandonment and acquiring new customers by deferring payments until after a trial period. This targets merchants looking for alternative payment options beyond standard 'Buy Now, Pay Later' schemes. The core difference lies in their implementation. Flexiti requires an existing Flexiti merchant account, enabling payment calculations and application links. TryOnify focuses on a deferred payment system coupled with credit card authorization, allowing customers to try products before committing to payment. One centers around financing options, while the other emphasizes risk-free trials as a customer acquisition strategy. The very different user reviews numbers and ratings also signal significant differences in user experience and perceived value, even given the small sample size for TryOnify.

Our Verdict
TryOnify appears to be the stronger choice for merchants seeking to reduce cart abandonment and offer risk-free purchasing experiences. Its "Try Now, Pay Later" model potentially appeals to a broader customer base than Flexiti, especially those hesitant about immediate payment or traditional financing options. The strong initial rating, albeit with a small sample size, suggests positive user experience.
However, Flexiti Monthly Payment Widget is relevant only for merchants already partnering with Flexiti. For those merchants, Flexiti provides a simple way to showcase financing options, making products more accessible to customers. Its utility hinges entirely on that pre-existing relationship; without it, the app is useless. TryOnify offers a more universally applicable solution for merchants aiming to improve conversion rates through deferred payments and risk reduction for customers.
