Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing immediate customer interaction, simplified contact options (phone, WhatsApp), and quick wins in conversion, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons is the preferred choice. Its simple installation and focus on direct communication can be particularly beneficial for businesses heavily reliant on customer inquiries and personal support.
However, if the primary goal is to overhaul store navigation, improve product discoverability, and create a more structured shopping experience through advanced menu customization and visually appealing layouts, Qikify Mega Menu & Navigation is the more suitable option. The larger number of reviews, despite the slightly lower rating, suggests a more mature and feature-rich platform for managing complex navigation structures, particularly for stores with large product catalogs.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Floatify emphasizes simplicity with a claimed 1-minute installation process, suggesting a very user-friendly experience. Qikify also claims ease of use with its "no code" menu creation, but setting up complex mega menus might require more configuration than Floatify's simple button setup.
Which app is better for increasing mobile conversions?
Floatify's focus on mobile-optimized buttons for phone calls, SMS, and WhatsApp chat directly addresses mobile user behavior, potentially leading to higher mobile conversions. Qikify's responsive design ensures menus display well on mobile, but its impact on mobile conversions is indirect, stemming from improved navigation.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, both apps can be used together. Floatify handles direct customer engagement while Qikify manages overall store navigation. They address different aspects of the customer experience and do not directly overlap in functionality.
Which app is better for a store with a large product catalog?
Qikify is better suited for stores with large product catalogs. Its mega menu features allow for comprehensive categorization, filtering, and display of products, making it easier for customers to find what they're looking for. Floatify's focus on buttons is less relevant to organizing large product inventories.
Which app is better for stores targeting multiple markets/languages?
Qikify explicitly states it lets you create multiple menus and assign it to different themes or markets, making it ideal for international or multilingual stores. Floatify doesn't mention any direct support for multiple languages, so it may require additional configuration for multilingual sites.
