Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to immediately boost sales through easier customer communication and engagement, Floatify: Social & CTA Buttons appears to be the better choice. Its focus on providing readily available communication channels such as WhatsApp live chat and call buttons allows for direct interaction with customers, potentially leading to increased sales. However, it is important to note the risk that these immediate features may feel intrusive to some customers.
TrustKit: Trust Badges & Icons is more suitable for merchants who want to build long-term customer trust and reduce cart abandonment by addressing security concerns. The use of trust badges and payment icons assures customers that their transactions are secure, fostering confidence and encouraging them to complete their purchases. The negligible review count suggests caution. A merchant may choose to install Floatify first, followed by TrustKit later, but if only one app could be implemented, the better choice depends on whether the merchant is trying to immediately drive sales or build long-term relationships with cautious customers.
