Floatton ‑ Floating Buttons vs FOLDER ‑ Product Tabsfor Shopify (2026)
Floatton ‑ Floating Buttons and FOLDER ‑ Product Tabs are both design element apps, but they address very different needs. Floatton, with its perfect 5/5 rating, focuses on adding floating buttons, presumably for call-to-actions or quick navigation. However, the low number of reviews (10) suggests it may be newer or have a very niche appeal. FOLDER ‑ Product Tabs, on the other hand, aims to enhance product page UX by organizing information within tabs and accordions. Its higher number of reviews (339) and 4.6/5 rating indicate a more established presence and broader adoption. FOLDER targets merchants looking to declutter and improve the organization of their product pages, while Floatton seems suitable for those wanting to add simple, prominent call-to-action elements.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a quick and straightforward way to add floating call-to-action buttons, Floatton ‑ Floating Buttons could be a viable option, particularly if simplicity is key. However, the limited number of reviews makes it difficult to fully assess its reliability and long-term support. For merchants with complex product descriptions, significant content such as shipping info, FAQs, or size guides, and who want to improve product page organization and user experience through tabs and accordions, FOLDER ‑ Product Tabs appears to be the stronger choice, given its larger user base, higher review count, and feature-rich offerings. The robust third-party integrations also make FOLDER more versatile for merchants already using other Shopify apps.
