Our Verdict
Geolocation Redirects | xapps, with its established reputation (5/5 rating from 22 reviews), focus on SEO, rapid redirects, and extensive widget customization, is the safer choice for most merchants, especially those prioritizing minimal SEO impact and a proven track record. Its automatic, client-side redirect functionality provides a seamless experience. Fokkio: Geo Redirect & Block, while offering similar core features and Shopify Markets integration, is a riskier proposition due to its lack of user reviews. However, its emphasis on detailed reporting on user distribution and rule effectiveness might appeal to merchants prioritizing data-driven insights and willing to experiment with a newer app. Smaller stores or those with less marketing budget may wish to test Fokkio on the merits of its cost vs. features. Larger stores that rely on conversion rates will almost certainly find xapps to be the better option.
